Payment
Options
• Payment may be made on PayPal which
accepts all major credit cards.
• Items will be shipped upon receipt
of payment.
Shipping
• We will select the most appropriate
shipping service at the time the order is placed.
• Shipping costs are added to all orders.
We charge $10.00 flat rate for shipping and handling of shipments under
$100.00, and $20.00 for orders above $100.00. All rates are in Canadian
Dollars.
• We add insurance to the shipping
charges on orders over $100 CAD.
Methods of Shipping and Costs
• Shipments to Canada
- We generally ship via Canada Post Express Post.
• Shipments to USA
- We generally ship via Canada Post - U.S.A. Small Packets (Air).
- We complete the customs documents when shipping your order and you must
pay any duties, taxes or tariffs that might be applied at the port of
entry into the USA.
• Shipments to Destinations
outside Canada and USA
- We generally ship via Air Mail.
Back Orders
• If for any reason your order is not
available, we cannot backorder as each piece is an original.
Your payment will be returned via PayPal to your account.
Returns
• Returns must be authorized by SLK
Designs prior to return. Please email request to info@slk-designs.com
• Returns made within fourteen (14)
days will be refunded (excluding shipping charges).
• Returns must include a copy of the
invoice and a note of explanation. The return authorization number
issued must also be included with the order.
• We accept returns on merchandise
that is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging.
Any goods that are used, damaged, or not
in the original packaging (i.e. goods that cannot be honestly sold as
new)
are considered to be used and will be refused.
• Items returned from outside Canada
must be clearly marked as PREVIOUSLY CLEARED
GOODS RETURNING TO CANADA on all customs documents and associated paperwork.
If this is not done, any tax and duty we must pay to receive these goods
will be deducted from your return.
• All shipping and insurance costs
for returns are the customer's responsibility.
Damaged
Shipments
• We are not responsible for goods
damaged in transit.
• ALWAYS inspect shipments BEFORE you
sign for them. If you notice that a shipment is
damaged, opened, or has been tampered with in transit, note your observations
on the carrier's
paperwork when you receive it.
• You must contact the carrier immediately
and file a claim if a shipment is damaged, opened,
or tampered with in transit.
• Some carriers require that you not
open a shipment before they inspect it as a damaged goods
claim. At the very least, retain all cartons and packaging materials until
after an inspection of the
damaged shipment has been made by the carrier.
• We do not charge taxes on orders
shipped outside Canada. You will be responsible for all taxes,
duties, tariffs, and brokerage fees on orders shipped outside Canada.
